The Eames Lounge Chair with Ottoman's modern design was crafted by Charles and Ray Eames and remains one of the most significant and enduring designs of the 20th century. Handcrafted and hand-assembled, Eames features 7-ply veneer shells, cushions which are individually upholstered, and die-cast aluminum back braces and bases. It is available in a variety of plush leather upholstery options and natural or oiled wood veneers, completing its legendary appearance.

No adjustment features

I am 6 foot, 190 lb, 67 year old male and have difficulty getting into and out of the chair because it is so low to the ground. There are no adjustment features, at all. No head rest. The back angle is set and permanent, so is the height of the chair and ottoman. The ottoman seems oversize for the footprint of the chair itself. It is very difficult to get up and out of. It is extremely well made and beautiful, but not practical as your primary lounge chair.

i LOVE this chair. it's exactly what i'd hoped for... beautiful and classic while also incredibly comfortable. obviously, a bit on the expensive side, but that's expected with this kind of quality.
