Gorgeous sconces
I hung these in the alcove in my dining room, on either side of my buffet. They are stunning and go very nicely with my Nelson bubble lamp that hangs over the table. Our dining set is mission-style, so pretty traditional, yet these lamps make the room look very up-to-date. I bought the white ones and when they are lit, the glow is magical.
Nice lines, though you get what you pay for.
I haven't installed this light yet, but in terms of sheer looks I'm so excited. Just know that you get what you pay for--it's plastic and very light, so I'm glad it'll be up and out of the way in a guest bathroom.
Love this wall sconce!
We got these sconces for our hallway, and then added this one for our powder room because we like them so much. I recommend any of the Kartell lighting fixtures to anyone looking for something contemporary looking.
Great design, easy install, gives off perfect light
I have recently installed both the crystal and the white versions of this light. It is simple and cool but still a bit classic looking. Wish it also came in all chrome.
Lavish looks
just like the GE Pendant light by Kartell this wall sconce is a great compliment to the pendant in the room. The cross bar where the fixture is attached is a little tight for the sconce and you have the get another cross bar that rotates in order to be able to install the sconces bar onto a standard electrical box.
Kartell
Based in Milan, Italy, Kartell was founded in 1949 by chemical engineer Giulio Castelli and his wife, architect Anna Castelli. Originally a producer of car accessories, it was Kartell's experimentation in plastics for the home that made them famous. Stylish home accessories and lighting dominated the 1950s, with the first injection-molded furniture emerging in the 1960s. Since then, the Kartell modern furniture line has only continued to grow, including contemporary chairs, tables, sofas and more--all made out of durable, lightweight and surprisingly comfortable plastic.
