The Duvernell Wall Sconce from Currey & Company uses recycled glass panes to create fluid motion in lighting. Thick glass segments flow along the exterior, while wrought iron provides architectural support. The design plays with light as it passes through the varied textures of the glass panels. Each handcrafted piece develops its own character through the natural variations in recycled glass. The metalwork underlying the glass adds subtle definition to the overall composition. This sconce shows how sustainable materials can be transformed into artistic lighting.
