The Duchess LED Chandelier from Maxim Lighting arranges its glass rods around the outer ring of a circular frame. Each rod hangs vertically from that ring, textured with the same icy surface used throughout the design, while thin spokes connect the ring to a central stem positioned above it, holding the whole structure steady. The chandelier combines steel and glass, spacing its rods evenly around the full circumference of the ring for a balanced, radiating shape.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
