A world-famous and awarded design from the mind of Gastone Rinaldi, it was first created in 1953 and hasn’t aged a day since. Four slim, strong legs in bent and welded iron form its base, ascending to a seat of a steel mesh shell softened by polyurethane foam to create steady and enduring comfort. An integral ‘backbone’ strengthens the design and securely anchors the legs. At the same time, the surface is Pelle Frau leather, soft, strong, and warm, embellished with the central seating that signifies its provenance, individualized with a touch of hand stitching and a welcome touch of natural texture.
