The Dolmen Downlight Wall Sconce from Il Fanale brings a Brutalist-meets-Mediterranean sensibility to a wall-mounted form, with a solid rectangular ceramic body tapering into a curved lower cavity that directs light downward in a focused, architectural way. Handcrafted entirely in ceramic using the coil-building technique, one of the oldest methods in ceramic craft, the sconce carries a raw, textural surface that gives it the presence of a sculpted object as much as a functional light fixture.
