Recalling the Greek word for 12, the Dodeca Chandelier from Matthew McCormick Studio delights with a dozen metal facets design as a refined and refreshing take on the classic chandelier silhouette. This contemporary piece reflects creator Matthew McCormick's love of seeing forms come to life with light. McCormick created the chandelier to serve as a hanging sculpture when not in use. Fine wires descending from a stylized canopy suspend a forged steel framework whose ring shape feels fresh yet familiar. The framework's facets fascinate as they produce various tones with the room's ambient light. Lining the interior, lamping turns to provide a uniform, spacious glow.
