The best task lamp. So sturdy and well made. Perfectly adjustable. The matte mustardy yellow color is wonderful.

This is very large for a desk lamp. Had I looked more closely at the specs I would have ordered the mini desk or the taller floor lamp Instead of this in between size that works better on a low coffee table than on a desk. I did try to exchange this lamp for a floor model, but lumens wouldn't allow me to return the product because it was no longer in its original box. I will not buy from lumens again. Be sure to hang onto the original product packaging if you buy anything from this company.

I already have one of these in the blue, and decided to buy a second for a different work area. This time I ordered the Margaret Howell edition in Ochre. Yuck! This color looks like baby food gone bad. The picture shows a slighlty sunny yellow, but in real life it's a color I can't quite describe, and not in a good way. So it's going back. My other lamp fell apart after 3 years and I had to order a new base. Over all, these are just OK in my opinion. They're made in China and for the money, there's really nothing that special about them anymore but the name and their legacy. I will look for a vintage one next or just move on to something else. Also, although it said in stock and available for delivery, it took over two weeks to receive and I had to reach out to get the shipping status.

I bought two of these lamps for my guest room and am very satisfied. They look great - nice retro look and they give off plenty of light for reading in bed.
