The Anglepoise Original 1227 Mini Table Lamp is iconic as it is space-saving, revamping the fundamental components of the 1930s design with a fixed arm and smaller size. The adjustable shade and chrome-plated fittings still make an appearance, but are alternatively supported by a steel-profiled structure and pyramid-shaped base. The curved silhouette recharges the look of the original jointed design, all while maintaining the celebrated functionality that we have come to know and love.

Nice design and contemporary look. Linen white color is a warm color. Switch on mine was defective, but Lumens took care of the problem.

Anglepoise

Anglepoise started in 1899 by Herbert Terry and sons. They originally sold products that used their springs, like toasters, bike seats and spring clips. It wasn't until 1931 when George Carwardine established a theory for using balanced weights with these springs that Anglepoise introduced lighting to the company.
