I bought 2 of these fans for my home office and guest bedroom. They were fairly easy to install and are very quiet. I like the modern style and that the fan's white color blends into the ceiling, so they're not too conspicuous. One thing to note is that the light isn't very bright, but that doesn't really bother me because I have other lights in the room. #sweepstakes

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
