Dang 1 Door/3 Drawer Console

Have not yet placed the media components in this console, but the piece is well designed and seems well constructed. The wood, metal and brass (on the pulls) are a pleasing mix. The gray color is soft and easy on the eye. Since I'm using the console in a bedroom, the narrow depth of 18" is particularly nice. I did not do the installation/set up myself, but the installer was able to set it up very quickly.

Got this for a client who needed a modestly sized media cab w/decent storage. Nice walnut finish and details/materials. Good modern design with a couple of interesting twists.

I love the design of this console. The color is beautiful (marine blue), and the detailing is amazing. Only complaint is the larger gap between 2nd and 3rd drawer - it creates a weird shadow line with the lighting layout. Not a deal breaker, however.

I'm a big fan of Blu Dot and have several of their pieces. I've been eyeing the Dang collection for a while and ordered this as the centerpiece of my new home office. It's very cool and functional; however, there are a few issues which were disappointing. 1) I was surprised to see the top surface and drawer fronts have a very pronounced wood grain. 2) There are fingerprint smudges embedded in the finish on one of the smooth edges surrounding the drawers and there is another imperfection on the front of one of the drawers. 3) The brass pulls were really splotchy (I used a tiny bit of Barkeepers Friend to smooth out the finish). 4) The action on the drawers isn't very smooth. 5) The left cabinet door was a bit askew, but fixed by adjusting the hinges. 6) I ordered the Marine Blue which is actually a bit darker than appears in the images. On the plus side, it's a beautiful color! This piece was incredibly well packaged and arrived damage free.
