The Matthews Fans Dagny Dual Rotational Ceiling Fan takes the retro aesthetic to a whole new level of cool. Dagny is available with metal blades (with metal blade guards), or with solid wood blades (without blade guards). Each fan head can be infinitely positioned in 180-degree arcs for optimum air movement. The greater the angle, the faster the axial rotation, with 60 degrees being optimal.

This fan is so cool! Its one of our favorite purchases and we've received so many compliments on it. Electrician said it was easy to install. Works great and looks amazing.

centerpiece of the great room

We'd seen gyro fans like this at a cafe in SF and searched one out for our house in the mountains. Really nice look with the wood blades and satin nickel finish, it's not modern or rustic so fits into a lot of places. We have it mounted off the peak in a cedar-ceiling great room. It truly is the centerpiece of the room. Sure it costs more than the average fan but if you think of it as decorating the room too it's a not too expensive upgrade that makes a big difference. Oh and it works great as a fan, the remote is handy, and it's very quiet while moving a good amount of air. For parents: instant babysitter, babies especially are mesmerized!

My fiancé has wanted this fan for over two years. I managed to finally surprise her with us at Christmas. Easy installation, looks great and functions well. Worth every penny.
