Early electric lighting appeared at the end of the Victorian era, ushering in new conveniences while retaining the ornate traditional designs of the time. The Hudson Valley Lighting Covington Wall Sconce incorporates these ideas with its period socket holder and domed shade, lending an early-industrial aesthetic with its all-metal construction. An attractive union of innovation and ornament.
