The fixture itself is elegant and unobtrusive. It seems to float weightlessly in midair and doesn't obstruct your sight lines through the room. It is gorgeous when illuminated. You'll definitely want to put it on a dimmer to control the light output because at full intensity it's quite bright. That works well if you have high ceilings, but if you're mounting the fixture low, say over a dining room table, you may want to manage the brightness.
Beautiful, Sleek and Practical
We bought the brushed nickel version. It's very sleek, lightweight, and emits a LOT of light! (Glad we put it on a dimmer switch.) We had a handy man install it, and it was easy (for him!). Looks very cool in our dining room.

We did a remodel and ended up with a really large kitchen island. We took a chance and bought 2 of these and placed them at an angle to each other across the island. The look is awesome - bright and modern. Would have given a 5 except we are having some issues dimming the lights without flicker. Happy none the less ....
