Contrast Lighting
The Contrast Lighting StoryBased in Quebec, Canada, Contrast Lighting was founded in 1989 by Michel Lecluze. After thirty years in lighting research and development, Lecluze was well-positioned to oversee the development of Contrast halogen and recessed lighting. In perfecting this technology and maintaining their quality control standards, Contrast began to manufacture every component that goes into recessed lighting: the transformers, housings, sockets and trims. In 2002, they expanded into hand-blown and pressed glass for a range of decorative pendants and sconces. Most recently, they've expanded from halogen into LED low voltage lighting. Why We Love Contrast Recessed LightingContrast Lighting is synonymous with quality recessed lighting. The number of recessed lighting options they offer is nearly infinite. They have housings of all sizes, for new construction or remodels, IC or non-IC rated. Their trims come in a rainbow of finishes and shapes, fixed or adjustable, suitable for locations dry or wet. The sheer breadth of options in the Contrast Lighting catalog means that any and all recessed lighting needs for home or business can be easily met. A Fun Fact About Contrast LightingContrast Lighting has become so enamored of the glass blowing process that they now also produce decorative animal figurines and vases in addition to their lighting fixtures. Noteworthy Lighting from Contrast LightingWith a number of recessed lighting sizes and trim options, the Contrast Lighting 3000 Series in particular is one of the most popular--and versatile--choices for commercial and residential applications alike. |
