I purchased the graphite/grey. It is made of steel. It is very sturdy, and gives off nice light. It also offers a dimmer feature by holding down the floor switch. It is heavy duty. It was shipped in its original box, which was packaged in another box with fillers. It arrived undamaged. I was quoted it would ship in a week, but it took over a month (40 days) to receive it.

In looking for a floor lamp that wasn't the same old, same old to compliment our modern home I found this. The simple modern design is very appealing, it provides a very nice amount of ambient light (probably not a reading light unless you are right under it), and doesn't take up a lot of floor space. It is very stable. Highly recommended.

Pablo Designs

Born in Venezuela, Pablo Pardo came to the US in the early 1980s and stayed. After getting his degree in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati in 1986, he designed for companies ranging from Fisher Price to Daimler Chrysler before settling in San Francisco. There he founded Pablo Designs in 1993, a lighting company specializing in refined designs that reinterpret light in its many forms.
