This is an attractive lamp and easy to assemble. I like the integral dimmer/light level adjustment switch on the stem of the lamp. The construction is a bit light weight - but works for us in our guest bedroom. I only wish that the light source was shielded better - the lens is right at the edge of the cylinder which makes it a little bit glary unless you have it on the lowest light setting and angle the head a little away from you.
