The Cloche Wall Sconce from Niche adds a subtle artisanal character to walls. Designed by Jeremy Pyles, it’s anchored by a rectangular wall plate in smooth steel, with a stepped texture, with an angular arm that extends out to the side and down to an elongated dome shade of smooth glass that sweeps down around potent lamping. The shade softens bright glare into a warm glow to the sides while splashing out a focused wash of downlight directly below for a layered and enduring appeal.

Niche

Niche was founded by accident. In 2003, Jeremy Pyles and Mary Welch were in the process of opening a home furnishings store in Manhattan, called Niche, but couldn't find inspiring display lighting for the storefront. So Pyles designed a glass pendant and had it custom blown in New York (where all Niche products are still hand-blown).
