Featuring delicately woven handmade silk threads, the Axo Light Clavius Linear Suspension provides a truly unique display of light. Light transforms the material, drawing attention to the gathered folds that create a juxtaposition of light and shadow. The resulting effect resembles an abstracted wood grain pattern, contributing light all around the fixture as well as below. The interior shade is left matte white, helping to shed evenly diffused light through the bottom opal diffuser.

White color is not white
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
The light is lovely, as I expected, but the white is much closer to cream. Not what I was looking for but the electricians had it installed before I saw the color.

Dramatic and functional lighting.
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I installed this in an office. It is very dramatic without being oversized. I installed three Philips LED bulbs (100W equivalent). And the task lighting afforded by the diffuser is fantastic. It's a little heavier than you might think, so you'll want to take care while you install. I'm beyond pleased.

Interesting effect, a nice change from the typical
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
We used this product over a pool table, and it gives plenty of light, the silk thread has a really interesting effect as you move around the table, and it is a nice relief from the "typical" billiards light - beautiful in a modern home. we used the diffuser, which I think is a must, I just wish it was detailed moer nicely, to put it on par with the rest of the fixture, and I also wish there were more color options with the silk thread.

Beautiful light but narrow in width
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
If your area that you want to place this light in is a small area then I would recommend this beautiful light. We wanted to place over a dining table that would seat 8-10 people. The light was too small for a table of that size--even with 8 seated chair option. Hate I had to send back because the light was a real eye catcher.. Ylighting made the return process easy--no problems..

Formal, clean lines beautifully softened by pleasing pleats
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
We love our new Clavius suspension lamp. The soft light it casts is soothing, the fabric is pretty and it works well over our kitchen counter. One small critique. I wish the diffuser were seated differently. It somehow doesn't feel like it belongs in the fixture because of the way you insert it.
