We love the design of Modern Fan. We have 5 fans from them, all from 2011. They work very well and are very quiet. It was a huge disappointment that this Cirrus fan is noisy (especially at speeds 1 & 2, a bit less at speed 3). We thought the fans would get better with time not worst. This fan is also a lot pricier than previous Modern Fan model. A big letdown.

We have not installed this item yet. However, the design and quality is beautiful. When shopping for a fan, I wanted something visually quiet—if MUJI (Japanese company) made a fan, what would it be? Our new home has beautiful 1914 traditional detailing, so the lighting and fans we are putting in are all meant to be visually quiet, not attracting a ton of attention to themselves except for a couple statement pendants. The shape of this fan actually mimics the french doors in the room we're putting it in.

I love the Cirrus Flush mount fan. It is attractive- which is what appealed to me first. In addition, I purchased the optional Light in the center (on a dimmer switch) which is terrific and adds the ambiance I want. Appreciate the different speeds as well.

fans are hard to select and this one is my go to. very simple and modern

I bought this a month or so ago, I have two other fans by Modern Fan Co. They are so well built, and performance is excellent. They stand behind their products too, if you have any questions or problems you can call the company and a person who KNOWS the product will help you. Lumens was good on the customer service too.
