Charlie Table Lamp

Inspired by the letter C, the Charlie Table Lamp from Mazzega 1946 imagines the third letter in the alphabet in handcrafted glass, interlocked for a staggering silhouette. With works included in the MoMA, storied designer Carlo Nason highlights the tradition of glass-making from his native Murano, Italy with a contemporary visual language. The table lamp presents contemporary shapes that come together with a retro silhouette. Handmade by glass artists, textured C-shape elements hook onto each other to create a dynamic shade. The multi-faceted shade appears to float thanks to a slender metal column and a low-profile base. When turned on, the light creates a graphic silhouette filled with perpendicular angles. The light radiates out as a seductive ambient glow.
