Beautiful Fixture

I bought this light about one month ago to replace a much older fixture that no longer worked. It is hanging from a slopped ceiling and looks quite elegant. Please note that it is not easy to hang and the parts supplied were not adequate to properly do the installation. I'm not certain if pieces were missing or that is the design. I used some parts from the previous light to get the job done. If you're not handy, get professional help.

About 20 years ago, my parents bought a small builder-grade house in an over-55 community. When I recently cleaned it up for sale, I found that fresh paint and new carpet could only go so far. The cheap brass fixture with candelabra bulbs in the entry announced "low end." I replaced it with this 3-light LED fixture in oil-rubbed bronze, and it welcomes guests into a modern, well-appointed, gracious foyer, setting the tone for the whole house. What a difference! The only glitch was that, even with a 9-foot ceiling, the fixture with minimum downrod was too low at the door, but happily the electrician was able to adapt it to a no-downrod installation, and now it's perfect.
