Named after the Spanish word for “basket,” the Santa & Cole Cestita Table Lamp is the younger sibling in the Cesta family of portable lanterns. A cherry wood frame cradles a plump white glass shade, evenly diffusing warm light around the fixture, including direct up light through the opening at the top. The adjustable handle makes moving Cestita easy; place this small lantern on table tops to soften the mood and create a warm and cozy environment.

Nice lamp but not as attractive as I thought.

Ordered two of these lamps, one came broken unfortunately. They are a bit chunkier than expected and the cord is very thick and bulgy. I wish the globe material was less plastic looking and bulb not so bright. Currently looking for a dimmer light bulb to see if that helps.

The light fixture looks great. We use it as light on the nightstands in our guest bedroom. The wood has a nice smooth finish and the globe is nicely finished as well and rather heavy.

Javier Santa, Gabriel Cole and Nina Maso started Barcelona-based Santa and Cole in 1985. The three focused on industrial design and sought out modern light fixtures that provided more than mass or function. They were looking for pieces that instilled a sense of serenity, culture and well-being.
