Have a steep ceiling, didn't see a rating on the outside of the box. Ended up purchasing additional parts that would work with a steeper pitch ceiling.

We love having this fan in our individual office as it improves the air flow without disturbing papers the desk. The fact that it is so quiet is also a big plus.
