hunterfan.comI needed a ceiling fan with light to replace the previous one without. I wanted something a little more modern looking the wood grain matches my table perfectly and the seated clear glass matches my kitchen fixture. My only comment Is that the 25 W equivalent lightbulbs that come with this fan do not provide enough light. I replace them with similar 60 W equivalent and it is much better.

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
