Air flow on website vs listed on outside of box

hunterfan.comI installed two of these ceiling fans on a covered porch (11' by 18' by a ceiling only 8' tall) and after getting them installed, the fans on high speed did not seem to move as much air as I thought. The website specs list 4397 CFM, while the outside of the box lists 2982 CFM, which is like 2/3's of the air listed in the spec's. Because if this, I will need to take these down and put something else up in their place, because high speed seems like low speed.

hunterfan.comTerrible product. Not sure why they would sell something this poorly engineered. They need to go further with the CFM and add some context to the capabilities. I would even suggest providing a climate preference for recommended locations geographically. If you live with any humidity, this is not for you!!
Great fans

hunterfan.comInstalled two of these fans in a 3-car garage primarily to reduce heating costs and improve comfort in the winter. Installation was easy and the fan assemblies seem well built and sturdy. Purchased this model because it was advertised as an "outdoor" type, but I see that the fan blades are not plastic or steel but rather fiber board so I do have some concern about them saggy over time from the impact of high humidity. They are working well initially but we'll see how they hold up over time.

I have been using Hunter ceiling fans for 30 years and this outdoor Cassius fan did not disappoint. It's very quiet, moves plenty of air and doesn't wobble. Great fan for the money.
Hunter Fans
In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
