- Address spills immediately by wiping with a dry, soft cloth. Use coasters, trivets, and placemats for protection against hot or wet items. Avoid lengthy exposure to direct sunlight (unless outdoor-specific items) as it may cause finish to change. Always lift and carry, do not drag when moving furniture.
