Peacock Chair

Remarkable, expressive, and puckishly playful, the Peacock Chair from Cappellini commands its surroundings with a strong construction form and a memorable fan of plumage. Created by Dror Studio, it draws a careful course between art and more refined design that designer Dror Bershetrit is famous for, expressing technical expertise refined at the University of Eindhoven. The seat ascends from a base of powder-varnished metal, accented by a seat and shell-style back of folded felt that adds an element of stylized sculpture and avian presence to the seat’s surroundings.
