The lamp is beautiful. It is heavy, feels substantial and looks great in our transitional space. I just wish the main shaft could be positioned so that the cord on the base could face inward toward the seating piece it's meant to serve. And we were surprised that the switch is a floor switch , so that could be more prominently shown. Overall, service was great and we love the lamp.
