The Campaign Chest from Noir brings a transitional touch to a boxy, rectangular frame, fitted with drawers along the top and an open shelf below. Brass hardware lines the edges of these drawers, adding a small metal contrast against the rest of the piece. This same hardware continues onto the body, made from mahogany and veneer with brass pulls set into each drawer front. A pale finish settles over this wood last, drawing out the grain beneath for a warm, natural glow, tying the whole design together.

Noir is an American furniture and lighting design company based in Gardena, CA. Founded in 2004 by Swiss native and designer Georg Bahler and Stephanie Lu, Noir produces Bahler’s designs. Each piece is hand-crafted and inspired by his European upbringing, art and furniture history, music, fashion, popular culture and mother nature.
