Italian Calligaris Chairs & Benches

Why We Love Calligaris Chairs & Seating

A Calligaris chair carries an immediate modern impact in spaces ranging from the formal dining room to the entryway and outside on the patio. Chairs and benches in the Calligaris furniture collection represent fine Italian craftsmanship paired with elegantly contemporary style. With a chair or bench from Calligaris, you will love taking a seat.

The Calligaris line was initially founded with the prolific Marocca chair, a clean-lined wood chair with curved legs and a handwoven seat. From the Marocca chair, Antonio Calligaris continued to build the seating collection with designs that can be found all over the world today. The well-round assortment of Calligaris chairs includes side and arm chairs for indoor or outdoor dining, as well as benches you'll enjoy introducing to the kitchen, dining room or foyer.

Where Calligaris Chairs Work Best

In the dining room, Calligaris chairs like the Anais Chair or the Philadelphia Chair stand out for noticeable class and elegance, giving you that much more of a reason to host dining and entertaining parties. The Alchemia Chair features an airy, triangular pattern that is reminiscent of a molecular model and becomes an instant conversation piece (not to mention it is exceptionally comfortable and durable from its thermoplastic material). You're sure to love the Area 51 chair for its "out-of-this-world" character and range of colorful options to fit your existing decor. Finally, consider the Shape Bench for a unique, yet simple form that fits the modern living room, entryway, foyer or bedroom. With a Calligaris chair or bench in your home, you'll be able to convey your sense of style while also providing a great place to sit.

Other Considerations

As another option for the dining room or on the back patio, you'll want to check out the Calligaris Air Chair. This lightweight design is made from breathable mesh fabric and a tubular steel frame, providing ergonomic comfort and surprising contemporary style. Plus, it can be stacked and easily stored until your next dinner party. And you will want to pair your new chairs with a Calligaris dining table to have a cohesive design scheme in your space.
