Made in Lithuania
The C44 Dining Table from FDB Møbler combines straightforward frame construction with a reversible laminate top that offers two different surface treatments. Jørgen Bækmark designed this 1963 piece to balance traditional solid framing with modern FENIX laminate, which offers practical properties such as easy cleaning and fingerprint resistance. The reversible top lets users choose between appearances based on preference, while the matte surface meets daily dining needs thanks to its durability. This combination reflects the balance between craft heritage and contemporary function that defines Bækmark's approach to furniture design.

FDB Møbler

Based in Albertslund, Denmark, FDB Møbler remains a torchbearer of timeless Danish design—producing sustainable, high-quality furniture intended to endure both physically and stylistically for generations. In 1942, amid a world dominated by heavy, ornate furnishings accessible only to the privileged few, a quiet revolution began in Denmark.
