The Bungalow Post Light from Maxim Lighting has a craftsman-inspired shape built from cast metal. Vertical bars break the glass into distinct sections rather than leaving a single continuous surface, and two types of glass work together here, one on the outside and another set within it, shaping how light passes through as it moves outward. Built from cast aluminum and glass, it is designed to withstand outdoor exposure to the elements over time.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
