This is a pretty light but not what I would consider flush mount. It hangs an inch or so below the ceiling so that the light is projected upward and casts a shadow on the ceiling. I was not expecting this and did not care for that look. Others may appreciate it.

I really like this flushmount and I shoppped through thousands. It is a pretty gold color and a classy twist on traditional. It took a long time to come in but was worth it. It is pretty large in person.
