The Boston Ceramic/Wood Nightstand from Calligaris introduces a ceramic top surface to a wood-bodied form, the marble-patterned panel sitting flush with the case below and creating a clear material distinction at the point of first contact. Designed by Gino Carollo in 2025, the body houses two handleless drawers — both operating on a push-pull system with soft-close action — and sits on tapered wood legs in a matching finish. It is a midcentury-rooted design that gets its character from the contrast between the ceramic surface and the warm-toned veneer beneath.
