Made in Italy
Designed by iconic French architect Le Corbusier, the Borne Béton Petite LED Table Lamp from Nemo speaks to one’s contemplative setting with a smooth concrete form glazed in inviting light. Created originally for housing and dam projects in the mid-20th century by Le Corbusier, the piece represents the longevity of a highly refined design. Le Corbusier believed that form should be reduced to its pure function, without decoration. Here Le Corbusier has created a concrete shape that fluidly combines the traditional base, column, and shade. The piece’s efficient curves also serve as an efficient diffuser for the downward-directed LED light. This light scatters toward one as an ambient task light.

Nemo

Nemo was founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Meda, Italy. The official lighting division of Cassina Furniture, the company was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and '70s, namely those created by the Italian modernist Franco Albini.
