A common tale for most college grads, friends John Christakos, Charles Lazor and Maurice Blanks found themselves low on cash and unable to afford the cool furniture they wanted for their homes. They decided to join forces and build a company that would offer good design to as many people as possible. Blu Dot was born in 1997 and continues to offer great, long-lasting modern furniture out of its Minneapolis, Minnesota location.
