The Bloom Plug-in Wall Sconce from Nova of California revives Mervyn Weitz's 1976 concept, inspired by underwire construction techniques. Steel wire forms the sculptural framework, wrapped with translucent satin fabric that diffuses light into a soft ambient glow. An internal diffuser further softens illumination for even distribution. The sconce’s plug-in design allows installation in rental situations, and its inline dimmer provides brightness control directly on the cord. This luminaire functions as a reading light or general ambient illumination in bedrooms, hallways, or living areas where wall-mounted lighting adds functional value.
