Drawing from the graceful engineering of underwire fashion, the Bloom Torchiere Floor Lamp from Nova of California transforms Mervyn Weitz’s 1976 Cloud concept into a poised, vertical lighting statement. A translucent white satin shade is tensioned over a delicate steel wire structure, casting a calm, atmospheric glow well suited to living rooms, bedrooms, or reading nooks. A solid black marble base grounds the sculptural form, each piece naturally unique, while a black nickel stem adds a crisp, contemporary note. Organic softness and architectural precision meet in a torch-style lamp that feels enduring yet distinctly modern.

Nova of California

Founded in 1923 by three brothers, Nova of California is one of the oldest lighting companies in North America. After thriving through the depression years, the company continued to grow, driven by its mission of bringing warmth and comfort to all homes. By the 1960s, the brand was producing pieces that are now considered classics. Today, innovative Nova of California mirrors update home interiors through the use of LED lighting, smart technology and interactivity.
