Basics Pro Patio Fan

Received Kichler 52" Basics Pro Patio Fan Matte White for outside patio usage. Packaging and shipping were top notch. First thing noticed was pre-mounted bolts with blue lock glue on blade arms. This fan came with 3 locking plastic tabs for securing motor during shipping so damage didn't occur. All fasteners for attaching fan motor and blades had spares in case one goes missing. This model came with 2 mounting options for flush or included 4" pole. Kichler fans come with secure cabling that secures unit if mounting on high ceilings. Everything went smoothly for attaching flush mounting and attaching blades using drill bit to speed up installation. Went with flush mounting due to low 8' ft patio ceiling height. Good trick to hold fan in place during flush mounting when attaching 3 motor wire nuts was to use vise grips on secure cable against box bracket. Also came with stick weights but were not needed to balance blade operation. Overall, this fan is heavy duty and moves air without making motor sound. There's no light kit with this model but finding Kichler standard kit nearby can be simple to install. So far this fan has met expectations in performance and overall value for damp location usage.

This 52" patio fan by Kichler is the perfect size for smaller patios. It is lightweight and easy to install. It would be great to use in smaller areas like a workshop or garage workshop area where you don't necessarily need a light. I do ferl it is made of very good quality materials. My husband and i put it up and bought a second one to put up with it as our patio is larger but if you have an apartment sized patio or one the size of a bedroom this will work fine. I love the speeds of the fan as well. Overall i would highly recommend this fan!

This 52" fan is perfect for our space. It was really easy to install. It appears to be a great quality fan that will last a long time. I love that it has 5 blades to circulate the air. The color looks really nice. I am very happy with this fan.

This fan is exactly what we needed to finish off our patio. It fits perfect in the space and was easy to install ourselves. The color is perfect and the controls are easy. It creates a nice breeze in a stagnant area especially when it's hot outside.

This fan is beautiful. It is the perfect size for my backporch and really helps keep it cool during this Texas heat. It was very easy to install. It feels to be made out of high quality materials that will stand the test of time outdoors. I definitely recommend!
