When first on the market, the lamp marked a return to warmth in residential lighting without making concessions in the modernity of the design. Today, it still delivers that promise. The Basica Table Lamp by Santa & Cole, features a wooden cylinder reinforced by a stable metal base. The light cardboard shade is garnished with contrasting stitching.
