The George Kovacs Bars Outdoor LED Wall Sconce breaks the monotony of a simple frame and glass diffuser with the addition of a silver metal graphic on the face of the lantern. The vertical planes are sporadically arranged and overlap one another, adding depth to the design. Warm light is able to peak through the front and profile of the frame, making this fixture a nice accent light for outdoor environments.

We have not installed on our new home yet, but it is absolutely gorgeous. George Kovacs mid century design of this light was just what we were looking for.

George Kovacs

George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor--and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting--Kovacs expanded his lighting import and design business (with locations throughout New York).
