hunterfan.comHums, terrible fan. Had owned Casablanca Fans for decades, this one is awful. Casablanca said they would give me my money back if I paid an electrician to uninstall the fan and box it up. Thanks Casablanca!!!
Fan is great. Wall remote is terrible.

hunterfan.comI bought this fan 3 weeks ago and it has been great. No complaints about the fan. The wall remote on the other hand is awful. It does require 2 AAA batteries, which is not a problem, but it cannot communicate to the fan at all while in the wall. It will work when I take it out of the wall and expose the backside to the fan, but when mounted it does not work properly. You're better off buying a hardwire switch to control the fan and light. I'm certain there is interference, possibly between the switch and the other wires in the electrical box or the antenna is not in a good spot within the switch housing, which should not happen especially with a fan no further than 10 feet away from the switch.
Nice looking but non-functional

hunterfan.comI had issues with this fan from the beginning. First the control panel didn't reliably communicate with the fan itself, so I'd be mashing buttons to no effect. Later, the light started flickering constantly. It was so bad we couldn't use the light at all. After troubleshooting with the company, they concluded it was a problem with a non-replaceable part, and told me the only option was to buy a new ceiling fan. So this was a real waste of money.
Nice looking, quality fan.

Casablanca Fan Company
Burton A. Burton originally joined the U.S. ceiling fan market with a belt-driven ceiling fan intended for commercial use. Then the energy crises of the mid-1970s hit, and Burton took his ceiling fan to the residential market, officially kicking off the Casablanca Fan Company in 1974. As the market grew, so did Casablanca Fans' line of decorative ceiling fans.
