Attimo Table Lamp

The Attimo Table Lamp from Fisionarte explores the properties of blown glass right before reaching its breaking point through a dynamic functional sculpture. Creator Domenico Rinaldi’s materials-based approach to design draws from the work of his father and master craftsman. This piece starts with a metal cage structure whose graphic silhouette contrasts dramatically with the organic shape inside. This organic shape is achieved by blowing molten glass into the cage and stopping just before it makes contact with the rods. One’s eye focus on the light source inside that leaves a trail of alluring highlight while producing a moody glow.
