The Maxim Lighting Atom Wall Sconce adds a Mid-Century modern approach to contemporary design. Two softly bent arms each host a white glass orb, concealing as well as diffusing the light sources. The two tone finish gives the piece just the visual interest and contrast it needs while still keeping the focus on the unique shape inspired by the Atomic Age aesthetic.

Maxim Lighting

Back in 1965, Jacob Sperling came to Los Angeles to study aeronautical engineering. Inspired by a job working for a lighting retailer, he turned his mechanical skills to the manufacture of lighting fixtures, building them in his garage and selling them out of his station wagon. In 1970, he brought brother Zvi on to help, and Maxim Lighting was born.
