A considered and classic design secured by a stepped disc canopy, it extends a long, slender stem to a single socket below, while a three-armed brace secures a cylindrical shade of clear glass around it. This glass is held in place by a metal ring at each end and joined by three slender braces that add a sense of sculptural stability while casting a focused wash of downlight below.

Just installed this. Beautiful fixture and very pleased with it. My first order had a something wrong with the wiring that kept tripping the breaker, but Hunter quickly sent a replacement. The installation instructions are a bit difficult to follow as it's all text with no images other than one small and detail lacking schematic. The instructions also leave out steps and the schematic shows the wiring put together in a way that is impossible to do. I suggest anyone considering the fixture, look at the instructions pdf on the website and be prepared to figure out a few things on your own.

In 1886, the foundation for Hunter Fans was laid when John Hunter and his son, John C. Hunter, engineered the first water-driven ceiling fan for Tuerk Water Meter Co. in Syracuse, NY. By 1896, they had acquired Tuerk company, transforming it into the Hunter Fan & Motor Co. and launching the AC-powered Tuerk Type A fan in Fulton, NY. Over the years, Hunter expanded its product line to include oscillating desk fans, pedestal fans, attic fans, air conditioning units, air purifiers, humidifiers and even decorative lighting.
