Love this retro style fixture BUT the opening only fits candelabra size/style bulb. Even the smaller round candelabra bulb will not fit as the opening is barely an in h and a half.

This light looks even better in reality than on the photos. Gorgeous simple design and very well made. I have spent ages looking for this type of light for a mid-century modern house. I think it looks better than similar styles at high-end shops that cost much more. Note that the glass globe screws into the fitting, which I think is better than other systems for attaching the glass to the base. Also it takes 60 W bulbs, which is higher than some other similar lamps I've considered.
