I love my Quill rugs
This is a fabulous rug. It is beautifully made, feels lush underfoot, and yet is the essence of simplicity. It is modern yet organic and warm. It imbues a room with a serene peace and makes my New York City apartment feel like an oasis in the din. One word of caution - ask your guests to remove their shoes. Just days after it arrived a neighbor visited with her dog and left New York street dirt on my beautiful rug. It is now being cleaned professionally and my fingers are crossed that it will be returned spotless.

Considering woven floor coverings have been around for millennia, it would seem like everything that can be done to create unique designs has been done. But in 1987 Nani Marquina proved that theory wrong when she decided to reinvent area rugs through her newly founded rug design company, Nanimarquina. Since then, Marquina's own rug designs have been joined by others from the likes of Milton Glaser, Ron Arad and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. The result is a truly distinctive and surprising catalogue of contemporary rugs.
