The Arctic Glacier LED Chandelier from George Kovacs suspends faux rock crystals in a circular formation, each piece mimicking naturally formed ice. The raw, organic shapes of these crystal elements catch and scatter light in unpredictable ways. A matte casing provides a stark contrast, while LED lighting brings each crystal to life, perfect above dining tables or in grand entryways. The dimmable design allows you to shift between bright illumination and subtle glow. The suspended crystals appear to float within their circular frame, creating movement as light plays across their irregular surfaces.

George Kovacs

George Kovacs was born 1926 in Vienna, Austria. After moving to the US, Kovacs was enticed in 1954 to market J.T. Kalmar lamps. Inspired by the success of that endeavor--and the observed popularity of such contemporary lighting--Kovacs expanded his lighting import and design business (with locations throughout New York).
