The Anisette Table Lamp from Vistosi turns the classic lantern upside down. Designed by Francesco Lucchese, it stacks two hand-blown Murano diffusers made from lattimo, a traditional opaline glass. They can be set in four positions: overlapping, hiding the mechanics; side by side, letting light fade upward or downward. Its name recalls the milky cloud that forms when anise liqueur meets water. A metal base grounds the design, making it an accent for living rooms, bedrooms, and consoles.

Vistosi

The Vistosi name enjoys a long lineage of glassmaking in the Venetian tradition, dating as far back as the 1500s when artist guilds were the order of the day. Since then, the company has become one of Italy’s most prestigious and prolific glass lighting manufacturers, with a particular emphasis on exploring the strength, quality and versatility of hand-blown glass.
